CAN I ORGANIZE A FUNDRAISING EVENT AT MY HOME?
- Yes, you can support the Seychelles Alzheimer's Foundation (SAF) by organizing a fundraising event at your home.
- To register your event, fill out an online form or contact us by phone or email.
- We will send you a fundraising kit with posters, flyers, donation boxes, and other materials to promote your event.
- Our fundraising team will guide and advise you on how to plan and run a successful event.
- You are responsible for complying with the local laws and regulations, as well as the SAF's policies and procedures.
- Collect and submit the funds to SAF within 14 days after your event.
- You will receive a thank you letter and a certificate of appreciation from SAF.

FAQ: WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE TO VOLUNTEER?
- The Seychelles Alzheimer´s Foundation welcomes volunteers of all ages who are interested in supporting people living with dementia and their families.
- However, for some activities, such as home visits, day care or respite care, we require volunteers to be at least 18 years old and have a valid police clearance certificate.
- For other activities, such as fundraising, awareness campaigns or administrative tasks, we accept volunteers who are 16 years old or above, with parental consent if they are under 18.
- If you are younger than 16 and want to volunteer with us, you can still participate in some events or activities that are suitable for your age group, such as art workshops, memory walks or social gatherings. You will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

- The donations are spent on providing care and support for people living with Alzheimer's and their families in Seychelles.
- The donations are also used to fund research projects that aim to improve the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.
- The donations help us raise awareness and advocate for the rights and needs of people affected by Alzheimer's in Seychelles and beyond.
