Last Friday, the Seychelles Alzheimer's Foundation (SAF) hosted a heartwarming Art Therapy session for a small group of individuals living with dementia.
This initiative, which is now a regular part of SAF's activity calendar, continues to create meaningful moments of creativity, connection, and comfort for participants.
The session offered a calm and engaging environment where attendees could express themselves through art, supported by compassionate facilitators.
These moments of creativity not only help stimulate the mind but also provide emotional relief and a sense of accomplishment for those involved.
We are pleased to announce that the next Art Therapy session will be held on Friday, 25th April 2025 at the serene Nature Sanctuary in Roche Caiman.
The activity begins at 10:00 AM and runs for approximately one and a half hours.
Participation is completely free, however, due to the personalized nature of the event, we are currently limiting attendance to groups of eight persons.
If you or someone you know is living with dementia and would like to participate in this uplifting experience, please don’t hesitate to contact us at 4324012.
Together, through art and compassion, we continue to make a difference—one brushstroke at a time.
